If you had a kid that was 17 and skipping school, smoking cigerettes, and doin drugs, staying out sometimes late at night, sometimes alnight, doesn't have an interest in anything at all? I have a girlfriend, that has this probably with her son, and doesn't know what to do. Any advice would be ful?

This is what I would do. I would make his life as hard as possible as for the skipping school I would tell him to get a job and pay his way he would have to pay a 1/3 of all the bills. smoking not in my house or on the property even if I did smoke, which I don't as for the drug call the cops, as for staying out past curfew if there is one call the cops.
She starts out gettin on to him, then gives in to him, and i try to tell her, your doin it all wrong, but she does not listen. I tryed to her, and i just got now where i stay out of it, cause she wont do anything about it anyway.
