Cut the squash into halves and remove the seeds. Place them cut sides up in an ungreased rectangular baking pan. Spoon 1 T. syrup and 1 T. cream into each half. Bake uncovered in a 350F oven until tender, about 1 hour.
I tried this recipe. It was FABULOUS. I used "real" maple syrup...believe me, it is worth it. I just have to hide it from the kids...at $16.00 for a small bottle, they cannot use it!! It is for cooking only!
