Fresh Mushrooms in Sour Cream
1 pound fresh mushrooms, sliced
2/3 cup sliced green onions with tops
2 tablespoons butter or margarine
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
1 tablespoon flour
1 cup sour cream
2 tablespoons chopped fresh dill
salt and pepper to desired taste
{Small rounds of rye toast(optional)}
Saute mushrooms and onions in butter and lemon juice for 4 minutes. Stir in flour. Cook slowly, stirring 1 minute. Add sour cream, dill, salt, and pepper. Cook and stir 1 minute.
{Serve warm on toast.(optional)}
I always love to make this dish in the summertime.Everyone enjoys it at get-togethers.It's a very nice side-dish for almost any meat entree.
