So, you are up near the OK border, right?? I think that's where Bowie is...correct me if I'm wrong.

I'm in Belton/Temple...about 60 miles north of Austin and 40 miles south of Waco.

Dh is Ukranian, so I really appreciate your recipes.

Angela,Yes Bowie is somewhat close to the border of OK.I miss the Dallas area though very much.
If you appreciate Ukrainian recipes-I have TONS!!!!!
May I ask what is Dh?You said Dh is Ukrainian-I'm not sure what it means.

Donna,I'm jealous!I wish I still had my garden.This year I don't have one.At my other house,I had a fairly large one with tomatoes,cucumbers,onions,peppers,squash....
Lucky you having them right out of the garden!Always more delicious that way!

Yes, I had to ask what it was, too. ;)
He is from Canada, but his family traces back to Ukraine.

Have you ever been there to Ukraine?
Hopefully I will be going this summer. But maybe in the Fall.
It will be a hard trip because I'll be taking my 2 year old daughter.

Oh, I see. Yall should go someday. Intriguing history and culture there. A few of my favorite old authors were born there. I will be going to city of Kiev and visiting other surrounding towns.

If you ever try this recipe stuffed tomatoes-let me know what you think.

I will also probably post some more recipes soon!
