Bummed about the Writer's Strike

Well, most of my shows are now in repeats, so I am watching a lot of Christmas specials this month, but I wonder how much longer this strike is going to go on before a settlement is reached. As an outsider, I can see both sides to the issue, but something has to give soon.
I have really missed the writer's blogs on the Grey's Anatomy site during the strike. But, I really don't want to still be in repeats in January, because of both sides stubborness. I am not a big fan of reality TV - Project Runway being a guilty pleasure of mine - so I am looking forward to the mid-season replacements that have already been filmed - LOST and Jericho among them - but after that what will we have left? With 24/7 News being the norm now, they have learned to beat every story to death. The philosopher was right, ignorance is bliss - sometimes. Maybe this will allow a revival of good game shows in the interim.

I just want to see some new episodes for the shows I like. I would also like the writers to get a better deal than they have now.

I want my shows !!
I do watch reality shows;
Amazing Race , Survivor, Dancing w/ the stars.
well dancing w/ the stars is over, survivor is almost over.

I hope it ends soon.

I am bummed too! One of our favorite shows is 24 and now it will be delayed!

Take heart! Even if there wasn't a writers' strike, 24 would have to be on hiatus because of Keifer Sutherland being in jail. At least now you have some company in your misery.

There is going to be one more Desperate Housewives, and some of the late night shows will be back in Jaunary - for those able to stay up and watch them. I wonder just how good/bad the ones that haven't made a side deal with the writers' union are going to be.
