Our ancestors watch, and wait, for us to identify them, and be linked to them.
Of course, addicted me watched Survivor. Actually I taped it so hubby could watch too. I thought that the opening was hyped up on the adds. The Vanuatu tribe held a ceremony accepting the survivors onto their island. The women were herded off to one side and pretty much ignored. The men were given a special drink and marked with the blood of a freshly killed (in front of them) pig. After the ceremony the women went off to their camp in one direction and the men in another without a map.
The women went on to win the immunity/reward challenge in which they took home fire. The men voted out who they thought would be the most competition.
So far I am not impressed with anyone in particular, but with so much time spent on the initiation ceremony there was not much time to focus on people individually.
I watch every week. Last week it was also PTA meeting night. Boy did we hurry our principal along so that we could all get home th o watch. Talk about addicted. LOL

I have been watching faithfully, but I am not getting into it like other ones. I think watching the ultimate survivor was easier because you already knew the people. They really haven't focused on individualls yet so I don't have anyone I am rooting for. This past week they mixed up the guys and girls so there are essentially new tribes. Hopefully it will be getting more interesting.
I too am hopeing things will be better now that they have changed the tribes around. I have found it hard to get into just because its hard to concentrate on the show when our youngest is now trying to push her bed time till at least 9 the ing makes it hard. Last week was teh first earthquake I can remember on any survivor that was neat.
