I have some sweaters that I don't want to put in my dryer because I don't want to take the chance on them shrinking; but when I wash them, they get little fuzz balls all over and it makes them ugly! Does anyone have a clue how to keep this from happening?

You will think I am if I tell you what I do. I put my sweaters in the freezer, rolled up for a while. Once they are taken out, the fuzz balls fall off.
You can try it if you like, it works for me.
Thanks DeeDee!!! Do you put them in while they are still damp from the washer? And how long do you put them in? Until froze or not? I really want to try......they look awful on there.

Wow Dee Dee, I have never heard that before. Do you put them in the freezer after drying them? That happens to a couple of my nice seatshirts with neat things on them and it s me . I will try almost anything to keep sweaters and sweatshirts looking nice longer.
I put them in the freezer when they are still damp from the washer. No dont' let them freeze in there. Just leave them in for a while until they feel enough, then take them out and let them unstiffen before you unroll them. Then just lay them flat to dry. The little fuzzies should come right off for you.
By the way, I used to do this with the diapers when my kids were small too. What a way to keep them white. It really works well.
