I'm a step mom of 2 boys 14 & 16 and we just got over a huge challenge. My oldest stepson and I really butted heads a few weeks ago and didn't talk for nearly 2 weeks. We finally had a good heart to heart a couple of days ago and now seem to be closer than ever.

Talking things out really s to solve a lot of problems. My oldest son, now 40 is my hubby's step son. They had a falling out of sorts when my son was about 16. I had gone to take my niece home and when I got back my hubby and son were having a heart to heart at the kitchen table. I left them alone and they got things all worked out. Now and since that night things have been super so I am sure you and your step son will be fine now.
