Jambalaya

1 cup okra
1 cup chopped green pepper
1 medium onion
1 cup garlic (cloved)
2 cups tomato sauce
1 cup water
1 bay leaf, 1 tsp. dried basil, 1 tsp. chili powder
2 pounds medium shrimp or diced cooked en
1 can whole tomatoes

Sauté onions, pepper, garlic. Add herbs and other seasonings
(whatever you have). Simmer 30 minutes. Add shrimp and
reduce heat for 10-15 minutes. Serve over rice.
