Recipe for Ultimate Garden Salad?

Do you have any recipes for a fabulous garden salad? Please share with me? I love salads and I make all kinds.

My favorite is green leaf lettuce, iceberg lettuce, romaine lettuce, diced tomatoes, sliced red onions, small sliced cucumbers, alfalfa sprouts, shredded carrots, shredded sharp cheddar cheese, sliced ra, large halved black olives, sliced avocodo-with wishbone italian or hidden valley ranch dressing.

What are your favorites?

My fave is the typical Chef Salad (I like meat & chz WAY too much!)

Diced ham
Diced sharp Cheddar
Sliced hard boiled egg
Sliced Black Olives
Carrots
Tomato
Cukes
Shredded Cabbage
Lettuce (any kind)
Bacon pieces

Oh, and Original Hidden Valley Ranch, or Bacon Ranch

I love pepperoncinis too.I canned some last year, but have already eaten them all!

Another favorite-I also like to make a salad same as what I posted above, but with breaded and fried en breast pieces added.

Weis, the grocery store where I shop, has a bag of pre-mixed salad greens-roman lettuce, red cabbage, spinach, & endive- which is sooo good. Then I add cubes of boneless en, ra, carrots, tomatoes, celery, onion, chunks of cheese (whatever I have) and top it with ranch dressing and bacon bits. Another good if you are out of en is slices of turkey lunch meat. Thank goodness I just got groceries today because now I'm gonna have to go make one.

The best salads we get are from a little dive Italian joint around here.

It has:

Icberg lettuce
onions
black olives
pepperonis
banana peppers
cut up ham (not diced)
cut up turkey (not diced)
tomatoes
cucumbers
and topped off with a huge amount of shredded mozarella.

Even the girls LOVE it!
