Here I am. We left on Saturday for the cottage and came home Monday night. I was beat and went to bed early so didn't make it in. So here I am tonight.
We are headed to the cottage again Friday and won't be home until Monday. Its a long weekend for us here so we are taking advantage of it. We don't have to babysit because my son and everyone is going to Toronto until Monday.
At least I got my afghan done while we were gone. It seems I get more crocheting done up there than at home. No interruptions. Now I can soon start another one.
So here I am ladies. Until Friday anyhow.

Well, I am glad you're back and that you had a good time. I hope you have a good time this weekend also. It is nice to get away isn't it? We are going camping this weekend but I'm not sure how relaxing it will be. We have to do a few things to the camper and then get it ready to tow home. We are bringing it home this weekend so we can get it packed up for the state fair. So probably not much relaxing but it will be worth it. Good to see you DeeDee, .

I've seen that commercial and find myself singing it, and I don't like the simpsons. I am eating leftover pizza, . I bought pizza for dinner because a representative for that new power line was coming to meet with us last night. From what I gathered they will end up putting the line through. It won't be over our house but very close and it will really ruin things for us here but they don't care. oh well, enough of that. I don't know what I am having for dinner tonight yet.

Mickie I don't have much left now to crochet. I only have the border to do on my afghan and its done. I might start another one this weekend though. My grandson wants one so I might start it and give it to him for Christmas. That means I have to make 5 more then for the other grandsons. Gee guess I will be busy for a while yet. Plus I want to make one for our family doctor. He has been so great to us for so many years its time to say a little to him for all he does.
I will have to be sly this weekend though as we are taking my grandson to the cottage with us. He always wants to see a picture of what I am making so I will have to show him a different picture I guess.
You guys have great weekend. I am giving you heads up that I will be away until Monday. I will be thinking of you all though and will try to get in as soon as we get home. I have a ton of emails to get done from last weekend and doubt they will be done before bed tonight. I can just see what I will have there by Monday.

Sunday the boys had a a little sing along at church, and then a hot dog lunch, with snacks afterwards. It was kinda like the final Hoorah for the ending of their church summer program. It was really cute, and mom and dad went and had fun watching them too.... Well wish me luck.... Me and Nicole (Sil) are bringing all 5 boys to Hurricane Harbor today. Thats a really big water park thats about 45 minutes way. This should be a trip to remember! I'm glad the rain came yeserday. We had a huge thunder and lightening storm yesterday. Our power was out for about 3 hours.. Seems like today will be nice... Talk to yu more toorrow...... Polly and DeeDee, I hope you boh had fun, and relaxing week-ends...HUGS....

Well, the camping was a bust! When we got to camp friday night our 'neighbors' were having a party! They had 'borrowed' our picnic table and the guy proceeded to tell us we were to come over and then that he had our picnic table and we were going to have to do without it for the night but hopefully we would join them. NOT! These people start drinking when they get up and don't stop until they go to bed. Sorry but not my cup of tea. They had ALOT of people and kids there and at one point one of the kids even hit our camper with something. I ended up with a migraine and I am not sure what time they finally quit but it was well after quiet time which is 10 pm. So we got up the next and decided to just go home. The guy finally came out and then came over and told Randy we would have to do with out our picinic table for another half hour or so since all his were coming over to eat breakfast!! What nerve! He didn't ask he just told us! Also he had done alot of landscaping in his campsite, He put down landscaping boards off of the steps from his deck (which he also extended) and all around the fire ring and then put down gravel! They are definitely settled in. I dont think we will be going back next year. This really s me because it has always been a good camp ground for us. Our kids know all the kids up there. I will talk to the lady who owns it as soon as I get a chance but I don't like to be a trouble maker.
Anyway, Summer had an earache friday that got worse so I had to take her to the E.R. on sat. night. She has swimmers ear. It continued to get worse yesterday and then at 5a.m. today she got up in extreme pain. Well I got meds into her, called the dr.s office as soon as it opened and got her an appointment. She finally went to and now she is up and says it doesn't hurt at all. Ok, I am stumped. It is still swollen inside and out, I know all about swimmers ear and it does not normally do that so I am very confused. I am still going to take her to the dr. to see what is going on. UGH! Is this family ever going to be healthy???
Okay, enough whining for me today.
