Our kids would have been out on the 15th but we had a water amin break so they had to close one off the schools so that meant all 3 had to close!!
We go back right after Labor day!!

I am glad you had a nice visit with your Aunt. The air matress story is one I can relate to mine always does that when we go camping!!!

I have to take my daughter to thr DR. today she got a swollen area with white spots on the back of her throat.!!!!

I cannot understand why teachers don't understand that you have a Dr.'s note. Where my daughters used to go to school they had a music teacher like that He would even throw chairs during rehersals. He also stopped his concerts if their was noise. He would stand there and stare at the parents . He would even yell at them if they took to long to get quiet. When they where going to have their Winter concert My daughter told him she didn't know if she would make it since I was in the hospital (emergency apendectomy) He told her to get her father of his rump and have him bring her.(MInd you I was on the PTA at the school and he knew me personaly) Well the principal was told and she got excused real fast! I was able to make it and sat there with a pillow on my lap so I couldn't get hurt and lots of painkillers. Needles to say it was not enjoyable for her or me.

He was transfered to a different school and I heard he is still up to his tricks(he goes as far as swearing at students and parents.)

Thanks, the visit with my aunt was a good one. Just not long enough. Hopefully in 5 years she can make it back again.

Hope your daughter is feeling better. Is it tonsils or strep throat she has? I hope she got some antibiotics to take for it.

That music teacher you spoke about sounds like he has problems. I sure wouldn't take that from him. Its a wonder they allow him to keep teaching anywhere the way he is.

Mickie hope you had some luck in Atlantic City. You have to come in and tell us how it went. Yes we did have a nice visit and thanks for the w.elcome back. She was tired from her trip but she is home again and doing great.

WOW Kathy, that teacher sounds like a real doozy! I hope your daughter isn't

for too long, and is feeling better soon... That sounds like strep throat... Pollys daughter is going through that also, and herself too.. I hope their also well by today... Well my A.C. tripwas really fun. I didn't come home winner, but ony lost 150.00 (Every cent I brought with me) LOL but it was worth the good time. There was actually a time that I was ahead 275.00, but mom and sil weren't read to leave and I gambled it all back... It's almost impossible to just sit around and watch someone.. No lady luck for me this time. Next time I plan on getting just a little out of Trumps wallet.... LOL Have a super day all!!! Hugs...

Summer is still

and so am I , bummer. But thankfully tonight my oldest DD, Skye, and her friend went to the play so I could stay home and get some rest. I will go again tomorrow. I don't know how Summer is holding up, poor kid.

No, I didn't miss anymore work but sure would have liked to have been home in bed. But luckily I am only having the sore throat/coughing part, not the rest so I will be ok. Just whiney,

Wow that sounds like some nut of a teacher! A couple of our music/band teachers around here are almost that bad. Not quite but I don't understand how they get away with it. A few years ago, we had a different sort of problem with a male teacher involving my teenage dd, I'm sure some of the ladies here remember me posting about it, you all were my life line to sanity, anyway we did all of the proper procedures and NOTHING was done to him except a slap on the wrist and he is still teaching AND still pulling his tricks. He has been reported and reported for years and nothing is done! I had him when I was in high school, so that tells you how long he has been teaching. My boss remembers him too. (We went to school together and did plays together and now I work for her and her dd and mine do plays togehter-just thought I'd bring everyone up to date on that side of the story).

Anyway, it is good to see everyone and thanks for all of the good wishes. Kathleen, I hope your dd is better, sounds like strep throat. Summer doesn't have the blisters and the dr. did a rapid strep test which was negative. They said she had either the flu or a virus but I would think the throat should be getting better by now. The flu like symptoms are gone but not the sore throat. I am hoping, maybe when she is done with the play she will heal better. Oh well, time will tell, let us know how your dd is doing.

Sisters I did see my cousin and it was great, he took us to Red Lobster and my kids were taken by him. Both parties fell in love and it felt so good to see him again. He has a very beautiful wife inside and out. We are making plans to see each other for Thanksgiving. I hope it turns out. The ogre (DH) saw him briefly because, he had to do something. Anyway we only had one day but, it was great! We reminence about when we were little in Puerto Rico. He is very successful and doing fine. I am glad for him. On another note, both children passed, I am going to Mexico for a month in one week. Today my daughter Tiffany cooked for me. I was amazed she is only 9. She took

en thighs and took the skin off, she said she did not take the fat off because, she cooked it in its own grease. It was well seasoned and toroughly cooked. She made corn on the cob. That was my lunch. it was delicious. Her first big meal. I am so proud , she said she sees me cooking and did the same I do.

er for my daughter she is getting evicted tomorrow. Her landlord, messed her up big time. He committed fraud but, my daughter and her girls have to pay for it. Now she is going to a shelter and I feel awful. She is also pregnant. Please

that her situation gets better. I would appreciated it very much.
