Well saw the doctor and he said my leg is healing very nicely. They took the VAC off and now I just have a different kind of dressing on. Its amazing how quickly I am healing.
I am very sore tonight though. I had the dressing changed today, now its down to daily and then the physio therapist was in. Well by the time I got finished my s and he was done poking and prodding at my leg and foot, I was pretty sore. I still am but have been walking quite a bit today.
The nurse comes in the again to change the dressing and then that is it for the day.
By the way I asked Dr. G if I could get his picture and he ed and asked if he was going to end up on youtube or something like that. I told him no I wouldn't do that to him. So he agreed and let me take his picture. When I get the film developed I will email you a photo of my good looking doctor.
Polly, where are you? I sure hope you are feeling better.

Well can't really say I took it easy today. We had the baby here and he keeps us busy. Then we went for a and tonight went over to my son's for a bit.
I didn't really get a chance to rest my leg today and my foot is quite swollen tonight. Oh well, soon time for bed.
Yes Dr. G. his first name is Scott is a hottie. I think I am safe in saying that here, nobody knows him. Yes wait till you see his picture. I think he is hot anyhow.

Luz, good to see you again. thanks, I am getting better slowly. I didn't really take it easy today either. We were in and out all day. I am paying for it tonight though. My foot is a bit swollen and my leg is a bit sore so off to bed I soon go.
No running marathons this year for me.

Good Morning everyone.
DeeDee, so glad to hear you are heaing so well. But remember to take it easy so you don't have any complications!!

Sorry I haven't been in , I was able to put in full days at work Thurs. and Fri. but was tired each evening and s. I am tired this too, blah! .
Well, my friend passed away on Thurs. I didn't get to go to the viewing or funeral. I had alot of things to take care of and still not up to par. But much better so I believe I am on the mend.
We had our family meeting Sat. Of course it was quite emotional but I believe we were able to work through some issues. There were some hurtful things said but I think we were able to work through alot and are able to move on now. Skye is going to look for another apartment with a girl roomate or if she can find one that she can afford, a place of her own. Some things we were told or presumed were incorrect. But mostly we had the facts.
Skye came over yesterday with her boyfriend who I am just getting to know. So far he seems like a nice boy. At least he believes in picking her up when he can and paying for dates (although there is nothing wrong with her paying too, sharing the costs so to speak) and he is very polite. So we will see. He lives in Virginia right now because he is in training for a job so he comes in each weekend to see Skye. I guess his parents like that because they see more of him, .
Anyway, I believe we did the right thing by having the meeting and clearing the air. As we told them, things were just getting worse by not talking about it and we just needed to hear the whole story and get our feelings expressed so that we could move on without a big hole in our family being created by this.
Thank you for your thoughts and ers and for letting me vent. It really did !!
Well, I will go for now since it is almost time for me to get ready for work. Blah, I hate mondays, .

Polly I am glad that you were able to resolve your family matters. I am still in that process my son spent 12 hours in the hospital on Friday. All the stuff that happened in the summer is still working on his head. He is bi-polar and the doctor said that, he has to tell his dad, otherwise, no matter what ammount of medication is not going to make him better. Thursday we have a meeting with our family worker to speak to my husband wish us luck, since he is so blind when it comes to his mother or his family in Mexico for that matter. The doctor said that is has to be rehashed otherwise my son will not be able to start controling his bi-polarism. He is so sad and down in the dumps, but when he remembers he gets agitated. It's a nightmare. Anyway we will get through this. I am so about yoru friend well at least she is with God, I firmly believe that she is . Hang in there sweetie. I .

Luz, I am so to hear of your son and the problems he is having. I don't know much about bi-polar either but do know its a dreadful disease. I just your hubby opens his ears and eyes and sees what is happening to his son and will do his best to correct the reason his son is having bad things coming back to him again. I will hard that you son and hubby both solve this soon.
