elizabeth broke her leg!!!

elizabeth was playing in the girls room and i was in the kitchen making elizabeth a bottle. all i heard was a loud scream and ran to see what had happen. when i got to the girls room elizabeth was pined under the play kitchen and had her leg pined in a kids fold up chair. when i pulled her out her leg was in the chair. w.t.h? i pulled out her leg and tryed to stand her up she did not want to put any weight on the right leg. i amidetly took her to chesterfield general hospital at the e.r. we were ther at 7.40pm. she had a x-ray done and had broken her leg.ahhh, ****!! they put her in a temprary leg brace and tranfered her to (florence)mcloud hospital. there we were amitted and taken to the 3rd floor and you know what fun this is going to be. i talked with the docter and he said that they were going to put her in a spir cast. she has a cast from toe to hip and around her wast to keep the leg from being moved.ahh. i just wanna

. i tryed to post picts of her but they are to big. how do i change them so that i can share?

ELIZABETH IS DOING GOOD. SHE IS STILL ON TYLONAL WITH CODINE B UT NOT AS OFTINE. SHE IS STILL GOT A LOT OF ENERGY.

Tamara, I am sure this is just something the hospitals automatically do there when a child comes in hurt like that. They do it as precautions. It doesn't mean they suspect she was abused or anything, they do the same thing here in Canada. It is just another one of the policies they have to follow. I know it hurt your and got you

When my last son was born, he had bronchial asthma and was in the hospital so much during his first year that one night I had to take him in due to he couldn't breathe. The doctor on call was new and said he was calling the Childrens Aid on me because I was not taking care of him properly. He said there was no reason for my son to be that

. When the nurse heard what he had to say, she laced right into him saying she knew my son's history and he almost died one time due to being sent back home so to back off and admit him. They did admit him and the doctor did apologize to me later but the damage was done then. I didn't accept the apology. I don't see that doctor around anymore here.

He

ed the gun right away though as a precaution but it was the way he said things to me that I didn't take lightly.

Oh fun good old children and youth oh i so don't want to go there! Becouse there are words that are just not right for this fourm!

they get there just deserts when they find that u didn't do any thing wrong. Kids will be kids and they get hert.

about Elizabeth. I know about those things too well. Hospitals are very quick to call in DSS in your state over here they are called ACS over here if the hospital knows you well they will get their own social worker and take it from there. I hate those folks they took my kids away from me because, of mistaken identity and not even as much as an apology when I got them back. They sure miss all the kids that are truly being abused, they find them when they are dead.
I hope Elizabeth gets better soon. How long does she has to keep it on?

ok, here is the new update on elizabeth. she is doing great! the cast as you all might emagen has not slowed her down a bit

. she is eatting lots of new and exciding foods.(noodles, peas, olives). we went for her chaeck up last week monday and the docter said that auguest 4th she gets the cast off!

we are all so ready for the cast to come off. it has been a chalenge giving her a half body

and doing the dubble diper thing. see she has a size 1 diper on tucked in her cast and a size 4 diper that we put on the outside and fasen around her wast. let me tell you its all exzosting if you ask me.

she has been crawling around on the floor between the 2 baby gates and then stands up, yes on the cast and wrapes her good leg around the bar. she is truly a truper. and is very imagntive when she comes up with a new way of doing things. ok, and now the fun part about dss and me. as you all know i had some one come to the house and "better" child proof the house. and keep having surprised inspections of the house.( the are looking to see if we have food in the cuberded and the tolet and

e works) well, da!!

i had to. i am now going to a parenting class from 4:30pm- 6:oopm on thursdays once a week. i have gone to the first class and all the women are going threw the same thing that i am and we can all relate. thats realy good for me because i have been so nurves about this whole thing.

. oh, also i had 2 teeth pulled tuesday last week and that was fun. i am doing good now. just getting ready for nexts weeks bisy schedual. thanks for lisoning,
