All New Members Now Manually Approved... Read

Due to alll the unwanted spammers - who have all been deleted. Any new members signing up for MomZone will now be manually approved and if you we deem you as someone that is a potential spammer your membership will be deleted.

We won't be approving any members using a hotmail, yahoo or gmail address to register with. You must use something besides a free email service as that is where we get the most spammers from.

It can take 2 - 3 days for new members to be approved. Thanks

Glad to see this happening. I was bummed last week to see all the spam here. Thanks for cleaning it up.

Thanks Cyndi. We appreciate what you do for us. I know you are very busy with your other sites but just want to say thanks. I too am glad to see this happening.

this is now the 4th site with message boards that I have had to do this with and it takes a long time to go through the new members to try to figure out who is legit or not.

these spammers don't realize that NOONE reads their posts or visits their sites
and they do not come here to read responses to their posts so, if people are spamming, ignore them and don't repley - just report it and we'll delete it. hopefully we won't have too much of an issue any more

. I am sure the spam will be cut back a lot now.
Sorry you had to do all this on the boards. I know you have a lot of sites and its too bad people have to do this.

Spam will be reported as usual if it happens again.
