Ok.I've read the rules. Just wanted to say Hey! Not a belief here that seems unfair to me! I guess I'm just extremely glad that there's a place to go that will NOT be offensive to anyone. I much prefer a forum such as this that deals in kind words and deeds, it's much nicer to share a kind word and sincere smile ! Thank you.
One question: I've noticed that when someone types in the letters "a", "s", and "s" in a word, they are "*". (such as in "gl***es".) is this needed? Just wondering.
that's because those 3 letters together are in the banned words.... several "not so nice" words and other words are banned and when they are, and they appear in other words... they put in asterisks. Just to keep it so there aren't any offensive words on here for people

just read the rules for the first time and they seem fine to be but for one. If we have a spiritual site then anything religious should be in there only. Not all people are or affiliated in any way and when I see these they offend me because I do not want to read them, or see them. I do not want this to sound harsh but religion is personal and if you want it get it at the spiritual site.
I would think that is why the rule is in place. To keep all religious and political stuff in separate forums. Then if someone is not interested in religion or politics, they just don't have to go in there! But, I personally think it is great that they offer them for the people who do like talking about them.

but if the spiritual site is where it should be then the personal quotes that are used by so many every time they post should be eliminated as well. Not everyone believes in god and some believe in others like Buddha. So when I see God is my saviour or whatever I do not really care for it.
But that is freedom of speech and religion. Whatever you believe in could be written too.
Politics and religion are two very touchy subjects for a lot of people, but living here in the US, everyone is free to choose the way they want to live and it's just a matter of people understanding that everyone is different from hair color to morals, culture and beliefs. And people need to accept the fact that some people are very proud of what they believe and how they live their lives. It's not something to criticize, it's something to live with.
