Jerky Recipes

Anyone else out there make jerky? I don't want to post a bunch of my recipes if no one is interested.

I use one, but you can use an oven on low heat. I'm paranoid about leaving my oven on that long. I like the way the dehydrator works. I have a really cheap one I bought at Walmart a couple of years ago. It's a Mr. Coffee and I think it cost $24

I've considered buying a dehydrator for years...and if I can get one for that little I'm going to stop making the utility company rich and get one!!! I like to dry fruits too, so start sharing your recipes dandylin...

You got it! I'm getting ready to make a batch now, just sliced the london broil. I don't measure anything so I will while I'm making the marinade this time. I do a traditional, teriyaki, italian. Today I'm starting the teriyaki

Oh, and I don't think it uses much energy. Minimal really. It's not at all like having a ac on all day. I don't even notice on the bill that I've used it.

Bring on the recipes! My son loves jerky!

I have a dehydrater somewhere. I buy gadgets like this all the time, I just don't always get much use out of them. Just like my breadmaker!
