french club sandwiches
1 loaf french bread
1/4 cup butter
2 tablespoons sliced green onions
1 tablespoon prepared mustard
1/2 pound thinly sliced baked ham
1/2 pound thinly sliced roast turkey
tomato slices
Remove heels of bread to make 16 inch long loaf. Cut loaf in half lengthwise. Beat together butter and mustard until smooth : mix in onions. Spread mixture on lengthwise cut sides of bread. Arrange ham, turkey, and tomato slices between bread pleces. Cut loaf into 2-inch thick sandwiches.
Skewer individual sandwiches through crusts. Grill over hot coals or toast in brolier or on griddle until well heated and light golden brown serve hot. Makes 8 servings.
