CAT SOUP - Sardine Soup

2 canned sardines
1 pat of butter
1 cup water
a couple stalks of watercress
fish sauce (optional)

Place the sardines and the pat of butter into a heavy-based frying-pan over medium heat. As the pan warms and the butter melts, mash the sardines into it. When the butter has completely melted, pour in water and stir to a boil. Thoroughly shred the watercress and place in pan. Remove pan from heat and allow to . Puree, add a dash of fish sauce if desired. One serving size.

LOL Amy ... you're Welcome.

As for whether the butter would bother a kitty's tummy ... I honestly don't know. I would think it would not (it never bothers my poochies' tummies) but if your kitty normally has a woozy tummy then I would probably stay away from it. I don't have kitties ... I have doggies but have collected these recipes from the internet for of mine that do have kitties.

I'm not too sure I could mash the sardines without getting a woozy tummy myself LOL.
