lokismom Posts: n/a	Homemade Vanilla Extract Ingredients: 2 cups brandy or vodka 4-6 vanilla beans, split lengthwise Place brandy in jar. Scrape in seeds from vanilla beans; add beans. Seal tightly. Allow to stand in a place such as a pantry or cupboard for 2 to 4 months, shaking the jar occasionally. Makes 2 cups.
