Hi Everyone

My neighbor is looking for some recipes for Pheasant ...If anyone has a reciepe that they have tried and would love to share Please do!!!

Pheasant Rice Bake
Yield: 6 Servings
1 Pheasant, cut up
1 Package Onion Soup Mix
1 Cup Uncooked Rice
1 Can Cream of Mushroom Soup
1 Can of Milk
1 Can French Fried Onion Rings

Simmer pheasant in water with a small amount of vinegar or lemon juice in it, to tenderize the bird. Sprinkle dry soup mix into buttered casserole dish. Sprinkle rice over soup mix. Add cooked pheasant pieces Pour Soup and milk mixture over pheasant. Cover and bake 350 degree oven 1 hr and 15 minutes. Uncover a sprinkle with onion rings. Cook 15 minutes longer.

This is really good. The meat tastes just like en in this dish. I even got my kids to eat it and didn't tell them until after the fact. They loved it!!

nenokku , I have looked up many recipes, but I wanted to try one that someone has already tried and enjoyed. I have never tried it, so I am not sure what it is going to taste like. My neighbor got them and wants me to cook it for a Nascar game get together.

I will give him the recipe and see if he would like to try making this one. And give ya the results of what we think, I am sure we will love it , sounds so yummmmmy.
