Arrow Baked Macaroni and Cheese

!! I have been searching high and low for a good mac-n-
cheese recipe that is simple to bake. I have tried so many recipes and nothing tastes good. I have 2 very trusting kids and a picky
husband to feed.

WAHMof2 is on a distinguished road
Here's what I do and everyone in my family loves it.

I boil one half box of elbow macaroni with a dash of salt for 8 minutes.

I use a 13x9 gl*** dish and pour the cook macaroni in it.
I then cover it liberally with a package of shredded cheese.

Then I slice smoked beef sausage over the top of the cheese.
I add a dash of salt and pepper.

Then I put it in the oven on 350 for 30 minutes or until cheese is fully melted.

Hello! Here's a simple recipe my family enjoys:

1 can cream of celery soup
1/4 cup water
3 cups cooked elbow macaroni
2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
2 tablespoons buttered bread crumbs*

In 1 1/2 quart c***erole, blend soup and water; stir in macaroni and 1 1/2 cups cheese.
Bake at 400 degrees for 25 minutes or until hot; stir.
Top with bread crumbs and remaining cheese. Bake 5 minutes more.
Makes about 4 1/2 cups.

*Add about a tsp. of melted butter to the bread crumbs (we like the Progresso Italian bread crumbs) and mix until coated.

Hugs,
Michelle

The recipe we use is to take Velveeta type cheese and melt it with milk (either on stove or microwave) Cook your pasta and the Spray the pan you will bake it in with a Pam type spray and mix it all together put in pan and if you want put slices of the cheese on top and then cover and bake at 350 until its golden brown usually around 15-20 minutes.

Your family may like this recipe - I know mine does!

Baked Macaroni and Cheese Serves: 4

2 cups dry small elbow macaroni or shells
1/4 cup butter or margarine, cut into pieces
1 can (12-oz.) evaporated milk
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon dry mustard
1/2 teaspoon ground white pepper
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
4 ounces American cheese, cut into pieces

Preheat oven to 350° F.

Cook macaroni in medium saucepan for 8 to 10 minutes or until almost tender; drain. Return macaroni to saucepan. Add butter; stir until melted.

Whisk together evaporated milk, eggs, mustard and pepper in medium bowl. Add to macaroni mixture along with cheese; stir. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until cheese begins to melt. Pour into 1 1/2-quart c***erole dish.

Bake for 10 minutes; stir. Bake for an additional 20 to 25 minutes or until bubbly and top is lightly golden. Season with salt.

IF YOU WANT TO FREEZE AND BAKE LATER:
Prepare as above but do not bake. Cover; freeze up to 2 months. Thaw overnight in refrigerator. Then preheat oven to 350° F and bake, uncovered, stirring halfway through, for 45 to 50 minutes or until bubbly and top is lightly golden. Season with salt.
