Is anyone here on the school board? I need to find out if it is possible to overturn a decision made by the board. They voted last night 5-4 in favor of changing our elementary schools. Currently we have two in our district, both k-6. As of next year, they will be k-2/ 3-6. We have fought this with petitons, letters in the paper, picketing, to name a few. The majority of residents want the schools left alone (if it aint broke, don't fix it) I could of cried when I left the meeting last night, many did.
One of the board members owns a company that prints t-shirts and stuff like that. Isn't that considered a conflict of interest? We are trying to find a way to get this changed. By doing this the class size is going to increase, more busses, long bus rides (some 45-50 minutes) That is a long ride for a small child. Any
