congrats. My oldest girls both made honor roll We r so proud of them. They have been doing great in school. My oldest says she has to get it cause she had honor roll all year last year and thinks she has to have it all year again. We don't pressure them but do try to them to do their best. My youngest is only in kindergarten and her teacher has trouble getting her to stay still for more than 5minutes at a time. She's always been this way but is slowly getting better. She gets bored really fast and can't stand to be still very long. We are working with her and it seems to be ing a little at a time.
Congrats to all those who made honor roll!! Our report cards for the second 6 weeks will be out after Thanksgiving break and not sure how 1st grade is graded or if they even have honor roll! I guess I will find out soon.
CONGRATULATIONS!!!! I'm so happy for your son!!! I know what he's feeling because I am seeing those feelings from my own son. My son is 10 and he made the principal's list (which is our area's Honor Roll) and it's his first time doing that. He received 5 A+ and 2 Bs and 1 B+ ... He was SO excited ... he had to call me from school LOL. He's an ADHD child so he is used to struggling but the last two years we've been in double duty with reading and studying and learning things during the summer and it's paid off. I'm sure your son is like mine ... and right now he has a HUGE sense of self-worth which is such a heart-warming feeling for us moms!!!!
Give your son a great big Momzone hug from me and tell him to keep doing well and all of us here at Momzone are VERY proud of him too!!!!!
Congrats to all the hard work the kids put into get Honor roll , My Becca missed it by 1 point also. My TOri had a sad report card but we kind of expected that ( she has ADD ) She had a D+ which made us sad. She knows th lowest grade we will accept from her is a C and she knows she can do C and above work if shew would apply herself. We talked to her teacher last night and It seems that she isn't doing alot of the work. GRRRR Why don't they tell us??

Be proud of what your children are achieving and them to be their Best. That's our motto . Thus Tori is allowed C's and Higher with out repercussion. We also feel that the Check marks tell you more than the grades.
