We put our tree up today. I get the lights on and then let my boy's put the ornaments on. Then...after they go to bed I put some more on and rearrange slightly. Not too much. After all, they put them where they wanted the ornaments. I don't want to make them feel like they aren't good enough.
The stockings are even hung behind the wood stove.
Going thru my Christmas boxes, I found some lighted garland I must've bought at the end of the season..cheap..last year. I'd forgotten! Wheeee I put those around two of my windows instead of trying to hang lights.
So, I would take some pics but the digi camera died. :(
