As a SAHM for 5 years, I guess I'd like to learn some new stuff by now. I'd like to go to some art class, baking perhaps, or probably learn French. I'd like to improve myself by learning new things. So that I can later on impart them to my son, Jireh. Who now, growing up seem to have tons of questions for me everyday! But I don't mind. I just want to at least broaden my horizon.
Hi Queenie, and nice to meet you... I've been a SAHM mom for around 10 years.. I've picked up side jobs all along, just to have some extra loot, but nothing steady. Just this year when I put my 3 year old daughter in pre school,I took on a job working for an older lady who has alztimers. (SP.) It's only 2 days a week. I picked the 2 days she was in school, so I could always be home. My plan is to get a REAL job when all 3 are in school full time.. I was a meat wrapper for years. I'm hoping not much has changed in that. I don't think so cuz meat is meat.. LOL.... I think it's great that your planning on doing something x-tra. I hate when my 10 year old asks me a math question and I have to say I have no clue... Maybe I need to take a third grade math course! LOL... Have a good one...
Yeah, I do agree. I think we really need the extra moolah!
But its hard if you can't just leave the house for work for other
extra income so you can bring in something into the family.
But I think, I am happy just ing out the way I knew how.
Yea I agree... Squeezing anything X-tra in is almost impossible! M whole thing is that if I went out to work, and had to pay for child care, there wouldn't be anything left over from the paycheck anyway.. So until the time comes I guess we will both be happy at what we are doing now... Hey the pay is low, but the appreiciation is worth a million! (I think) LOL Have a great day!
I am a busy sahm myself. I take care of the house, homeschool my kids and run a home business. But If I ever have the time I would absolutely love to do something just for me........maybe ballroom classes!
Hi Crynh, and nice to meet you... It sounds like you really have your hands full. Ballroom Dancing sounds like a real challenge... I can hardly do the two step.. Go for it !!!
