Wink Relocating With Children!

We are relocating approximately 90 miles from where we currently are in Montana and have three children. What a stressful thing to do! The kids are really feeling it and I really want to make this a fun and exciting time for them. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to accomplish this insane task? We are moving for good reasons and there isn't a lot of financial stresses -- yet -- and we are boxing up all their stuff. We will be moving at hte end of June hopefully -- our house in the other city closes on June 28th and our house here doesn't have an offer yet -- so there is that stress that we are talking about and the kids may overhear...

My oldest, (Olivia 9), is worried about going to a new school. My middle child, (Becca 6) is excited to be a first grader and doesn;t seem to be worried about school yet. I think she may be nervous about meeting new though. My youngest, (Sawyer 3), is just about not being to play with his toys -- and having them all available to him.

We are trying to juggle daycare, me working still, etc...Softball is coming to a grind, is speeding up to a dramatic recital finish and we are busier than ever. How do I slow down and make them feel safe and secure in all of this craziness?

Please !

My only advice would be to take things one day at a time. I would think it would be hardest on your 9-year-old so I would try and ask her if there is anything you can do to ease her mind, reassure her that she'll easily make new , give her tons of s to her keep in touch with her old , and just listen to her when she talks. I would say the thoughts of going to a new school are terrifying to her.

Other than that, I'm clueless.

Good luck with the move! I hope it's a safe and easy transition for everyone.
