Today I found out that someone that I grew up with is here visiting his parents for a while. He just came back from Afganastan and will be going to Iraq in Jan. I haven't seen him in a long time so I can't wait to talk to him tomorrow. We have known each other since we were like, 5 years old.

I had a wonderful day with my MIL. I couldn't last night so early this a.m. I called her to see if she wanted to go at Wally's.
I picked her up at the local DQ, that's where we meet and she or I leave our vehicles, went to breakfast then to Wally's.
She want to buy us shirts, so she actually ended up buying for herself, 2 shirts and a pr of pants, a sexy bra that I picked out for her, a pkg of undies and tshirts. She doesnt' wear black, so I get all the black stuff. She wanted to buy me a dress, but they all looked to "oldish". So, I got a jeans skirt with a belt. A size smaller than what I used to wear. Then I bought groceries and we headed home.
That is my tale of a most "Happy Day".
A beautiful sunny day! (a nice break from all the rain we've been getting)

I am beginning to learn that it is the sweet simple things of life which are the real ones after all.
I haven't had a happy moment in about two months now, sure wish something would come my way to make me happy. Oh, well, it will come soon i hope, just keep ing for it.
Happy Moment Wednesday
Going to the Zoo with my son & seeing my friend Jess there with her little daughter, Hope! The kids are in an Early Intervention PlayGroup there for kids with Developmental Delays. It was fun, and my son made me a macaroni necklace!
