We went to see this movie a couple of weeks ago. It was really funny. Some of the humor is set to go right over most children's heads directly to the adult funny bone. Mostly in references to cartoon and comics from the 60s and 70s - I don't remember anything really risque in the movie. We are already wondering when the sequel will appear, or if it will just become a Saturday
cartoon show next Fall.
This is another of those good family fun flicks that the studios are finally starting to realize will make them as much $$$ as those appealing to the 16-20 yr old crowd.
I am so happy to see so many coming out this time of year. Maybe if people go and see them in the theaters, the movie industry will make more of them and we can start a cycle that is beneficial instead of vicious for a change!
