I am so happy and proud I could burst!

My daughter won 3rd place in her first ever art competition!!

She submitted an oil pastel piece that is really and looks sort of like a patchwork quilt. Now, she is really looking forward to her art classes this summer.

A local group wants to borrow her art for possible public display over the next 4 years. We need to find out more information before we agree, but is nice to be asked to contribute.

Unfortunately, I do not have a picture at this time. I will try to see about getting one with a digital camera and posting it.
