First of all I wish you a safe, short and SOON delivery pif2use. How exciting welcoming another son into your lives. I agree with the other gals, let your older sons (the BIG brothers

as much as they can, getting diapers, a bottle if you're not nursing, etc. they can even read or tell their baby brother stories or sing to him. There's lots they can do so they won't feel jealous or ignored in those first hectic days home.
Now, thanks to DeeDee for alerting me to this thread or odds are I'd not have seen it.
Uploading pics isn't all that difficult and sometimes if you see that red X it's only a temporary problem and your photo DID upload just that for some reason it's not displaying at that moment. First you can click the "refresh" button at the top of your window. \
(One note - if you're uploading to the photo album section of this site your photo won't be visible until it's been approved - which can be a day or so depending on when they can get to it so that's why you'd see that red X, but it would include a message stating it takes time to be approved)
That said, if you're trying to upload to a post and still seeing the X and not the pic then it's possible it didn't upload properly or at all. That may be due to the file's size. In order to upload it has to be within certain limits. Maximum file size is 102,400 bytes. If you aren't sure you can right click the picture (file) and select "properties" that will show you the file size. If it's too big it can be resized, in most cases, with the program you use to open files like that one.
This may sound confusing, but it's really not hard once you've done it...experiment a bit. You can save the resized file, using another name by adding a 2 for example or jsut overwriting the one you already have.
