1/2 cup onions, chopped
1 whole egg, slightly beaten
1 Tbsp parsley
2 Tsps chili powder
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
Basting Sauce:

Preheat oven to 350. Prepare a 9 x 5" loaf pan with cooking s

. Place loaf pan onto a baking sheet; set aside. In a mixing bowl, combine beans,

en, onions, egg, crumbs, half cup ketchup, parsley, chili powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well. Shape into prepared loaf pan; set aside. To prepare basing sauce, combine reserved bean liquid and remaining ketchup. Mix well. Baste meatloaf with 1/3 sauce. Bake loaf for one hour and 15 minutes, or until done. Pour remaining sauce over loaf five minutes before removing from oven.
