Snow Cream

I thought somebody was looking for this recipe here....found this tonight!

ICE CREAM SNOW
1 cup milk
1 egg, beaten
1/2 cup sugar
dash of salt
1 teaspoon vanilla
Directions:
Blend the above well, then add clean, fresh snow till absorbed.
(NOTE: May not be advisable in poor air quality areas. Don't use "yellow" snow!!!)

Thanks Christi I was the one looking!

I would say I need snow but am afraid of how much we could get. The temp is now around 8 degrees or below.

I wish spring would hurry up and get here!

Thanks for checking into this for me!

That's a good recipe Christi! I make it that way except I omit the eggs because I don't like the raw eggs in it. Most eggs are shipped here and aren't as fresh and I worry about bacteria's in the raw egg. It tastes just as good with out the egg Alice, if this is a concern for you or anyone that may want to try this recipe!!:D

Thanks Kim for letting me know about the taste thing! I think the only way that I have had it is without the eggs also!
