Funniest message? My dad's , he keeps stumbing around and has to go back and put in what he wanted to say.

The kids have never done a message, but maybe I'll let them do one!!

Ideas? I thought abot putting the theme song for "The Addams Family" on our machine.

When I had an answering machine....

Hi, it's time to play telephone tag! You're it!

I used to make up 1-900 messages using the letters from the phone. It was hysterical.

or.....say hello and pause before saying anything else. Someone always says hello and starts talking. It's a laugh that you need at the end of a hard day.

There was a tape put out quite awhile ago with different message ditties. I don't know if it's still available or not.

Those are funny girls! My daughter is on our machine and just says we are not home right now leave a message after the beep .

I thought of doing what some of you girls do...putting Hello....hello...and then saying we are not home right now. I might try that for some good s!

I use to have a rap one I got of off one of those answering machine commericals...it went something like this (singing in rap style):

I'm glad you called
but I'm not home
I'll be back before too long
Wait for the beep
you got to leave your name
