HI, I stumbled upon this site.... I really don't have a clue as how everything works yet , but love reading about others... everyone seem sfun and ful! Just wanted to say hi and hopefully I can get into the swing of things here!

I also just joined actually today. I am a mother of a two year old son and another baby due in December. I am a working mom preparing to make the transition to stay at home and am very nervous about it. Was advised to look into support groups and online type. Just looking to make some connections!!! Look forward to getting to meet people!!! Hope to hear from anyone.

Congratulations on your new little arrival to be. Its great that you are looking to be a stay at home mom. It is a big step but one I am sure you will not regret. Your kids will love having you at home all day. I hope you find something to keep yourself busy then too.
The ladies in here are all great. Very friendly and ful. Just look around the boards and you will find lots of good reading and maybe even some in the direction you want to go.

I am trying to tackle it like I have any new assignment lots of research which is how I actually found this site. Reading lots of books and trying to talk to stay at home moms. It is really hard to plan beyond that because I am in the military and so when I get out my husband and I aren't sure where we are going to end up so I can't really research the area or get to know other stay at home moms in the area we will be in. So I will be starting out all new, really nerve racking especially since I am an avid planner. But I am sure all will work out. Any books you could recommend or websites would be great!!! Thanks for the response I was a little nervous about not getting one..sounds so silly I know. Well hope to hear from you or anyone again soon.

TGWYNN, You came to the right place, congratulations on your new baby and the one in the picture is adorable. You will be fine staying at home after working is hard full of frustrations at first but, you said you were a planner and that s a lot. Just go with your heart and ask us a lot of questions we are here for you. If I find out about any sites about staying at home moms(domestic goddesses like me ) I will let you know. You will be fine.

Nice to meet all of you!!! I had a good practice day yesterday at being a stay at home husband had to work, house needed to be cleaned, son was a little uncooperative but we kept our and still had fun and got a few things done. I even was able to sew a pillow...Keep in mind I have not sewed since highschool muchless looked at a sewing machine...and did all of it with a two year old on my lap. It was great!!! Kind of eased my mind a little. Have a great day!!
