The move went well. I got to go back home for x-mas which was nice, but its a 12 hour to CT, so that was no fun at all. Next time were definitely flying their. We got a puppy in Nov. Hes adorable. He's half mini-schnauzer, half jack russell. Hyper as heck. But he keeps my mind off of having children for awhile since I dont want to until we move back home which will be in about two years. I just really want to wait till I'm back around all my family. I have made alot of here though which is nice. I just hope these next two years go by quickly. -Samantha
I'm glad your move went well. Congrats on your new puppy!!

I haven't met you before Samantha, but I am glad you are back. I look forward to seeing more posts from you. Where are you stationed now? I bet when you get out and about the two years will go much quicker than you think. The first several months were always the hardest for me when my husband was transferred. I loved long summers and hot weather, and it seemed we were mostly sent to much er places. The adjustment was tough, but making really ed a lot.
Hoping you make many, many and find all the best to keep you busy for the next two years!
Actually my dh isnt in the marines now. He's been out for a couple of years. We moved for a job that he got here. He is going to school here also and will be done with that in two years and then we can move back home. Though he is thinking of going back into the reserves. His twin brother is still in though, he just got sent to Japan for a year. Nice to meet you though. What branch of service is your dh? Just curious. Talk to you soon! -Samantha
My dh is out now as well. He served twenty years in the Air Force. We are still away from each of our families and we miss the east coast. We formerly lived in Virginia and my dh's family are in Virginia, North Carolina (coastal) and Florida. My family is all in the New Orleans area. We miss the ocean, so we will likely move back there within the near future.
Best of luck to your dh in the new job and at school, and to you in your new space.
I look forward to hearing more from you in posts.
Take care,
Hey there Samantha, nice to see you back again. Glad to hear the move went well for you.
Congrats on the new puppy.
Hope you are able to come in more often now that you are settled.
