Talking questions sent to me from my English friend

How old do you have to be before you're 'Old Enough To Know Better'? (apparently not 37 cuz I STILL dont know better! )

Why does it say 'Please Dispose Of Carefully' on chocolate wrappers - what are the consequences if you ignore that instruction?

If 'Dr Pepper' became a consultant, would the drink have to be
called 'Mr Pepper'?

And speaking of 'Dr Pepper'... why is their no 'dot' after the 'Dr'
in 'Dr Pepper' (have a look, it ain't there!)

When it is raining, we say 'Nice Weather For Ducks' - how do we know this to be true? Ever asked a duck's opinion?

Is there another word for 'thesaurus'?

Is a cross between a frog and a pig a frig?

Has anyone ever found their temper? (not me!)

Why don't we have 'Junior Citizens'?

If Whopee Goldberg had married Peter Cushing, would she have changed her name to Whoopee Cushing?

What are ghosts afraid of?

those are hysterical.

My dad's from Leeds, England but he was 4 when they came to America so he became Americanized quickly. I do remember my grandmother using some odd expressions though. Ladders were runs in stockings or pantihose for you younger gals. And being knocked up meant you were confused. That was one of the funniest - once she said that about my cousin, who was 14 and was unsure about staying in Girl Scouts. Almost created a huge family scandal! Guess you had to be there.

OH these crack me up . And Dorreen, I would have loved to have been there. That is so funny, I can just see my dad having a hissy fit over something like that, shoot, I can see ME having a hissy fit. . Tell us more. I love these stories. I want and English friend. Or anyone from a different country. That would be pretty interesting.
