I am new here. I'm Paula and live in Hopatcong, NJ with my husband and my 2 kids (one is going to be 4 and the other is 7). I wanted to work from home for so long and when I finally got tired of missing those special moments with my kids and wanted to see them grow up so I got a business opportunity that didn’t cost me basically anything and been doing it since. I love making money and still am able to enjoy seeing my kids grow up.
Hi Felisia Its nice to meet you. I hope you come in often and join in on the conversations so we can get to know you. Its a great bunch of ladies here and we have a lot of fun so join in.

I am new in here I was wondering how I go about finding groups to chat in? I see topics but are there groups to join? If someone could point me in the right direction that would be great...Thanks
HI there
Not too sure of what you mean by groups to chat in but if you are looking for a business group, there are a ton of those. Just do a google search for work at home message boards and you will find them.
This is for chatting but not strictly about business. There are forums here you can post in about business but its more a chatting forum in general.

I signed up a few months back and am just learning my way around. From reading the other introductions, I can see that there are moms from all walks of life.
I am a part-time stay at home mom. I do some substitute teaching at the local elementary school. This is the school my 2 daughters, 16 and 12, attended. It is a small school, around 400 students in grades K-5. I also have a home business working with a wellness company. I get paid to introduce others to our natural products. Not a bad deal. I set my own hours and days which I work. If I want to take a day off, I can.
I enjoy gardening, reading, yoga, hiking, and spending time with my husband and daughters. We love to travel. In fact, our vacation at the end of May will be going to the Grand Canyon.
I am new to the forum, and said hello in another thread, but thought I would add more details about myself here.
I am married and live in northern Arizona currently, though we are planning a move to Pittsburgh in the next couple of months. I am a mom, a step-mom, and a grandmom. My son and 3 beautiful grand-daughters live in Pittsburgh (which is why we are moving there ). My 3 step children live in New Zealand and they are all grown and on their own now. My husband had lived there since he was 18 years old. I lived there with him until about 10 years ago, when we moved to the USA. My original home was on the east coast before we met.
Ever since I have lived here in Arizona, I have been working from home and love it! In fact, I don't ever want to go back to working for an employer, unless I absolutely have to. So, as long as my business grows and I can generate income from it, I hope to continue working from home.
I have missed being close to my grand-kids (and my son!) and am looking forward to our move and to being in their lives on a more regular basis. I am looking forward to getting to know some of you here on this forum, so will be posting and reading more in the days and weeks to come.
Hi Arlene
Thanks for telling us a little more about yourself. Its nice to know a little about the in here. Good luck with your move.
I am Darlene, been a member of the zone since it began about 5 years ago. I have made a lot of great in here as I am sure you will also.
I am married and we have three sons, 6 grandsons and one grandaughter. We live in Ontario, Canada. I have a home business that I have owned for 8 years now. I am a hairstylist by trade but due to health reasons can't work in a salon any more. I do have steady customers though that I go to their home and do their hair for them. A few of them come here to my home. None of my three sons have ever been to a barber. The oldest son will be 40 in June. now the grandchildren come to me for their haircuts too.
I am glad to see you will be in more often. Just join in anywhere and you will get to know everyone here, Since Cyndi made it that new members are moderated before they join it might clear a lot of the spam out of here. It will be busy like it used to be.
Anyhow, glad to have you here and I look forward to chatting with you again soon.

Thanks, Darlene, for the warm . I will have a look around more and see what people are talking about here. It's good to see there are at least SOME "grandmoms" here, and I am not the oldest one in the forum.
Arlene you are definitely not the oldest person in the forum. I am 59 until November but am not celebrating any more now. I don't like the next number so am going to stay right where I am.
Just talk about anything in here. Tell a joke, (a clean one of course) join in on the game forums, post a recipe or just chat about your weather. Just come in and enjoy yourself.
