Hi ! My name is Kimmi. i am mom to 2 teenage girls, 14 and 17 and I have 3 stepsons 19, 20 and 23. The 20 yr old lives with us the 23 year old is married and lives near by and the 19 lives in Germany where he grew up. I love the internet, reading books, gardening, and summer vacation. I was a stay at home mom when my girls were little too bad there was no internet then. I started working when my youngest was in first grade.. I worked in their school as an aide. I moved on to working in a middle school with special ed kids. I have a home business that I love. I am working on building it up to the point of quiting my school job and staying home full time again. It is great to be here when my girls need me and even when they think they don't. Does any one else here have teenage problems to deal with. My girls are great but they are teens so some stuff goes with the territory. Anyway that is all for now. Take care!

Thanks for the and Bless You the Mom of triplets.. I can't imagine having 3 the same age, all at the same time. Good luck with the aide position. You didn't say what school district you live in but I hope it works out for you. School districts usually have wonderful health benefits. I work from home now but when my kids where younger it was nice to be able to be close at hand when they were at school. I also did the whole PTA thing but I caution you there, sometimes you get so busy volunteering you forget why you started it in the first place. Take care and see you in the forum!

Yeah having triplets sure is interesting I live in Connecticut . The benefits I dont need I have ins. through my husbands job that is really good I just need steady hours. This year I subbed as a teachers aid but it was fill in so some months were busy and other months were quiet in some ways it was good . I did the PTA thing this year I was the secretary and Im glad I did it but next year Ill just attend the meetings and try not to get roped into to many events because I have the three there it will be enough dealing with three teachers, and the needs of the kids I have one with special ed and the other two have to make sure they are doing ok also.
So they will also be taking classes so well see what happens as time goes on with boyscouts and girlscouts and stuff like that. but until I get a job it will be surely limited. Again to the board!
Welcome Kimmi, glad to have you with us. I am married, almost 20 years now, have to daughters, 17 and 12 and YES I know what you mean about teens!! And I think it's worse with girls! I hope you will love it here as much as I do. Everyone is so ful and kind and wonderful. I look forward to getting to know you more. I work part time for our little town doing the water/sewage billing etc. It's nice because it is so close to home and my youngest daughter can get off the bus down where I work after school. My Oldest daughter just graduated. WE go Weds. for college orientation. She will be living at home and driving to college from here. Well, again and hope to talk to you agian soon!!
