Hello from Australia

Hello,

I'm a "stay at home dad" with a 16 month old girl from Melbourne, Australia. In case you don't know, Melbourne is down the bottom right side of Australia.

Apart from being "Mr Mom" I also run a web site for parents on how they can protect their children from pedophiles, inappropriate content and other Internet threats.

I'm a member of a few mom web sites so a few of you may have seen me around. I look forward to chatting with you all.

She had a friend in school who was an exchange student who was from there and she really got interested. Anyway

Polly: Feel free to pick my brains about Australia. I wouldn't live anywhere else.

hotshotsos: I find it both amusing and strange that some dads "don't care" about raising their children. I think the whole "I'm going to work" thing becomes an excuse after awhile as many fathers can't relate to their family. Why? Because they don't spend time with them. Anyway that's another topic.

Simon, Im a sahm and ive listened to too many moms complaining that their kids dads dont care.It seems strange to me, cuz my hubby tries hard but our daughter is a mommas girl.Doesnt want to be away from me.I love my kid but sometimes I need a break too.Then you hear all these moms saying the dads never call or visit etc...I dont know people are screwed up.Kids are too precious to be ignored or forgotten.Just my opinion.....

We were there maybe 5 years ago....we went to Sidney and Surfers Paridise.....absolutely LOVED IT.
