Hi, my name's Michelle. I am 40, married and the mother of two beautiful and talented children (10yr son, 11 yr old daughter). I went from 14yrs as an IT Profressional, to 4 years as a WAHM, and now back part-time in Corporate America.
During my time at home, I started a home-based business. I am about celebrating and doing it creatively. So, I became a party planner and an independent consultant with a large national party supply company. I ran a successful party planning business in Colorado and have recently moved to Wisconsin. I am working on getting re-established while at the same time working part-time. I do have a party webstore that I spend most of my free time now, trying to keep updated.
I also enjoy decorating, gardening, walking, traveling, reading and of course meeting new people. I am a big football fan of the
Kansas City Chiefs (have been since 1985, when I moved there for my first job). We are doing do great this year - ! I am a native New Yorker, but have lived in 7 different states since I left New York for college in Texas. I still call New York home, since most of my family and high school still lives in the Hudson Valley or the Bronx.
I look forward to viewing the different forums and your posts. I look forward to contributing too!

I am relatively new myself, joined in Oct but just stared visiting & posting in the last few weeks!
I am a former Daycare Teacher/Nanny (ed from one back to the other for 15 years!) who is now a SAHM of 1 baby boy, almost 2 years old!
MOMZONE members are so sweet, funny, intelligent and SUPPORTIVE! Just this week I lost my MIL to a sudden, massive stroke and they have ed me work through it just by being here & being so wonderful!

This is a great place, lots of great women!! So far I've never seen any judging, just a lot of fulness and hip.
One word of advice though.......beware...........it gets very addicting!!!!!!
Where in Wisconsin are you? I live there too. I'm 39 with 3 kids; 2 boys, 18 and 15; and 1 daughter, 15 months.
My husband is also a diehard Chiefs fan!!

Hi Michelle, , so happy that u are joining us.........This site is great to just get away and relax.......I see you are from Wi........thats nice to see, I am from WI myself. I use to be the only one that post from WI for awhile when I first started posting, but now I am seeing more and more, from our great state!

HI Michelle and !!! You will love it here. I joined in Oct. of last year and I am totally addicted and happily so. . I love everyone here. Everyone is so supportive and kind and they really care. I too lost my Mil, suddenly, in Sept. and they have ed me through it. I honestly believe God led me here because I was so depressed and trying to keep it all in so I could be strong for everyone else and here I could vent and and kick and scream and everyone was so kind and ful. It's a great place to get support and hip and some good s and great s. I look forward to getting to know you. You sound like a very busy lady!! I am married, almost 20 years now, Have 2 beautiful daughters who can me insane some days, haha, They are 17 and 11 so the hormones are flying, Ugh!! I work Part time in town doing the water/sewage billing for the town. I was a stay at home mom until about a year and a half ago and don't regret it a bit but enjoy working too. Just join in and start posting and you will be addicted in no time.
