awesome in-laws

i have been very blessed with inlaws even my ex husband i don't talk to cause i dont like him i still talk to his family and really great with his mom. My new in laws with my husband now i absolutely . I actually wish they were my parents that is kinda sad. I would much rather hang out with them then my own family.

That is great you have such wonderful inlaws. I never knew my first fil but my mil was an okay person to get along with.

My inlaws this time with my second hubby, my fil is deceased but he was a super person. I just loved him. My mil is ok, we get along but do have our differences at times. She is a very hard person to get along with but you just have to know how to deal with her. After all these years, I know her pretty well and we get along great now.

Hubby loved my parents too. They were easy to get along with no matter who it was. They were loved by everyone. They are no longer with us now though. Its great when you have inlaws you get along with. Makes for a great happy family all the way around.

You all are so lucky, I actually inherited two sets of inlaws at the same time. My husbands parents are divorced.
My mother-in-law is a real hoity toity type and her husband is really kind of a jerk. My husband and him do not get along at all so visits are very tense...the type where your cheeks are sore from so much fake smiling But the MIL and I are getting there.
Now my Father in law and his wife I , although I get really self conscious around them when it comes to how we raise our kids. She is a pyscholigist who specializes in Children and even though she never critiques me I feel like I am constantly being judged.
but don't get me wrong they aren't bad just awkward alot of the time.

I come from a large family and my husband is an only child so that is where alot of the differences come in!!! Ahhhh...Thank goodness for the Military that way we don't have to spend too much time together!!!! LOL!!

I know what you mean about the fake smiling. I think we all do that at one time or another.

Yes I was very lucky to have good inlaws. Hubby loved my family too and it makes a world of difference when people can get along as well as they did.

My mother in law was wonderful. We lost her to a massive stroke just about 2 1/2 years ago. Sure do miss her.
I know you appreciate the Blessings you have.
