At first my MIL and did not get along then she relized that no matter what she pulls she wont be able to break up our marraige, and believe me she has tried. When my husband and I met he was a major mama's boy. He has cut the strings. Now we are mother and daughter and not in laws. It's nice and she does me , but who does not have their moments. Its like any other family.

My MIL wasn't that bad at the start. My was and still is a little bit of a mama's boy. Not to the point that I have to slap him anymore. I've come to realize that their tight bond is one reason he & I work so great. Now I have 2 boys so I look forward to having that (to them) with my boys as they grow. I also love her now.
