Exclamation HELP!!! Silly Putty Mess

Steven left some of his silly putty on Kevin's bed. It's on two pillowcases, his sheets, and a white comforter.
I have picked and scrapped until my fingers hurt, but it's still there!!
I was able to remove the easy stuff.
What gets this stuff off? Any ?
HELP
Thanks in advance!!!!

Ellie

I don't know if they have it in the States, but here we have something called "Goo Gone" that might --it comes in a little bottle and it is yellow in colour I think. Have you tried rubbing alcohol?--that usually takes care of sticky messes.

Well, I went to that website, but I'm not sure what I was supposed to look for.
Thanks for the advice so far. Doesn't seem like anyone else knows what to do either.

I found somewhere where it say's that a kid had put it on the carpet's, I know you said he put it on the bed and pillowcase but maybe it will work the same. It say's #1. scrap off silly putty with butter knife (as you already done) #2. s with wd40 and let sit for 10 minutes (that's where it's tricky wd40 on a pillowcase??) #3. repeat if nessasary. #4. blot with rubbing alchool until stain is removed. I don't know if it's going to work, but good luck, I will keep searching around for you.

I wonder if you held ice on it if it would get so that it would break off...

Goo Gone works great on very thing! I love that stuff! Yep they sell it in the states.

Oh whats the lighter fluid that people use for lighters...its yellow and blue.. that stuff works also.

HELP!!! Silly Putty Mess

Chickiepoo,
WD-40 ought to work but after getting putty off make sure to spot treat the WD-40 area with hair shampoo or something like DAWN dishsoap.
Otherwise i imagine you'll have a WD-40 stain .
Goop Gone & another gunk remover product can be found at Wal-Mart.
WD-40 LIST OF 2000 USES !
