Lightbulb LAundry Disaster

HELP!!

This problem is actually two-fold.

!) A container of motor oil exploded in our back seat on the floor. Any s on how to soak it up or clean it up?

2) One of my daughter's Columbia mittens fell in the oil and sopped up quite a bit of it. Any suggestions? My mother bought these mittens for her last year--they cost $35!!! Now, I would never spend that kind of money on mittens for a 7 year old, but they are great mittens and keep her hands really warm.

If anyone knows of any tricks, etc., I would really appreciate them!

Thanks, Michelle

I'm sure this won't you a whole lot because you cannot buy this in a store; but Melaleuca Prespot can get out motor oil.

Try cleaning it up with Lestoil. I have used this to clean greas out of clothes and it really does take it out.

I forgot about that.....my brother used it on some of his white dress shirts for work too! The worst is that it stinks.

Lestoil is excellent on grease. Also to soak up the oil try kitty litter it soaks it right up. Then use lestoil to clean up the mess.
