Use cheap sponges as dryer sheets. Purchase a cheap brand of liquid fabric softener (this tip doesn't work well with the concentrated formulas). Mix equal portions with hot water in a bucket and add cheap sponges cut into small pieces. Leave the bucket next to your dryer and squeeze out sponges before adding them to your dryer load. Your clothes will smell great, be soft, and you can reuse the sponges over and over.
OR you can extend the life of your fabric softener and dryer sheets. Mix liquid fabric softener with equal parts of softener and water and pour it into a s

bottle. S

a clean, dry washcloth at least 6 times and put it in the dryer with your wet clothes rather than using a dryer sheet.
Remove musty smells from antique furniture. Place a slice of white bread on a plate and cover it with white distilled vinegar. Put the plate inside the drawer or cabinet and close. The bread will absorb the musty smells.
