Angry Sticky Drawers?

Not sure if this is where to put this as its not a tip but a request.

My daughter has a sticky drawer on her bureau its the bottom one and its almost imposable to pull open. Anyone know what I should do to make it move? Its holding my daughters sheets hostage and she cant put any away wich adds to her mess but thats another thread.

Thanks for your sugestions!!!

Try running a bar of soap along the sides where they slide. If you can get it open enough to do that. If you have anything that sticks or a sliding door etc that squeaks, run soap along the track and it s a lot.

Hope you get the drawers open now.

You are . Let us know if it works and if you got the drawer open.

If all else fails, push it out from the back maybe. ??? Just a thought.

THANK YOU so much Dee Dee! The soap worked I did it today while I was cleaning her room. It was so nice to be able to open and shut it when I needed to.

Hey that is great. I am glad it worked for you. I use soap on my drawers too and also on squeaky doors. I have a wooden bi-fold door between my living room and bedrooms and when I open it at night to go to bed, hubby hears it squeaking. With the soap, it makes it very quiet.
