Does anyone have a way to get wax out of votive jarsi usually keep water in them and it works great. My daughter (11) asked to burn candles and didnt put any water in jars before lighting them. Even though I asked her and Told her to do so. now there is was in the jars and its driving me .

I am not sure if this is what u mean......do u mean the wax in the glass votive jars? What I do is just boil them in water and the wax comes out....

Melissa Thanks I never thought of putting them in boiling water. I bet thats much faster then trying to scrape out the wax. I have tried burning it out but that didnt work either just made them all sooty inside. what a mess. I gave up for today and started burning candles again. but as soon as these are done into a pot they go! so much!

I have a question: yesterday I picked up one of my candles, and was NOT looking at what I was doing(this is another ) but I had tilted the candle and needless to say I drooled hot wax on a "new" pair of jeans . To say the least I was very , and I was wondering, no hoping that someone~~~anyone has a tip on how to remove the wax, or do I have to go and find a huge patch and sew it on????
