Mint Dip for Fruit
Mint Dip
1 3-ounce package cream cheese softened
1/3 cup sour cream
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 teaspoon fresh mint dried flakes, crushed*
1 teaspoon green creme de menthe (optional)
3 drops fresh mint extract*
1 or 2 drop food color green (optional)
Apple slices, grapes, pineapple chunks and pear slices
In a medium bowl, beat cream cheese and sour cream until smooth.
Stir in brown sugar, mint flakes, optional creme de menthe, mint extract and optional green food color. Cover and chill for 30 to 40 minutes.
To serve, place dip in a small bowl on a plate; surround with fruit.
* 2 tablespoons minced fresh mint leaves may be substituted for dried mint and mint extract.
