the best barbeque sauce ever

I use this one on ribs usually, but it is excellent on en as well...I have spent years getting this downpat and just last week got it right...It looks more complicated than it is..but is truely worth the time...hope you enjoy it!!

Makes about 3 cups

2T oil
1 small onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/3 c brown sugar
2 t chili powder
2 t oregano
1 t cayenne
1 t paprika
1 t mustard
1 1/2 T worchestershire
1 1/2 T vinegar
14.5 oz can crushed tomatoes
1 T tobasco/hot sauce
1 1/3 c ketchup
1 c honey

Heat oil - saute onion and garlic in oil
Add all dry ingredients and stir well
Add rest of ingredients - stir well and bring to a boil
Simmer until well mixed...stir frequently (30 minutes)

pour over ribs/en, cover and cook at 350 til tender

Oooh sounds good. I especially like the honey touch, much more flavorful than corn syrup!

Thanks
